Senior Consultant Sustainable Developments

A Senior Consultant in Sustainable Development is required by one of the world's most integrated climate change solutions businesses to focus on energy in buildings and sustainability including  renewable energy and carbon management.

The successful candidate will undertake sustainable built environment projects; including building physics design support and energy advice, and sustainable energy strategy development as part of master-planning for major development and regeneration projects, sustainability appraisals, community energy and CHP feasibility, design and implementation.

Providing project manage and technical inputs to a range of sustainable energy projects and to undertake targeted business development activities to support the acquisition of new work. The focus for project work and business development will be in energy in buildings and sustainability associated to building developments, but may also include renewable energy and carbon management.

To be eligible you will have an Engineering (or similar) degree and higher degree in specialist field, and a master or other post graduate qualification and a sound understanding of energy from a physics perspective and a knowledge of at least two of:

  • building physics and building services
  • Renewable energy technologies
  • Local energy planning and relevant national policy and regulation
  • Non-energy sustainable building issues
  • Process energy
