Sustainability Consultant (Waste)

One of the leading environmental and engineering consultancies are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join a small but varied team in the client's Leeds office.

It will be your responsibility to produce a range of waste strategies, varying in size and type, from local authority to commercial developments. You will therefore require the following skills and experience:

• a sound understanding of the waste sector and it's associated legislation
• experience of working on strategic waste projects
• knowledge of waste planning
• knowledge of producing site waste management plans would be advantageous, as would conducting waste audits
• good communication and report writing skills

Knowledge of PPC permitting and waste management licenses, different waste technologies and sustainable resource management would stand you in good stead, as would operational knowledge and someone who is familiar with waste life cycles.
